Getting to Gräpplang is straightforward: the A3 motorway takes you almost right to the hotel’s doorstep – take the Flums exit, then follow the signs up to the hotel. The final few minutes on the mountain road are part of the experience.
A limited number of parking spaces are available right by the hotel.
Flums is easily accessible by train. There are direct services to Flums from Zurich Main Station, including the IR35 towards Chur – the journey takes around an hour. For timetables, see www.sbb.ch
From Flums railway station, you can walk to our hotel in around 20 minutes or book our shuttle service, which is available on request.
The nearest international airport is Zurich Airport. From there, you can reach Gräpplang in around one hour and ten minutes – either by hire car directly via the A3, or by train from Zurich main station to Flums and then by taxi up to the hotel.
Gräpplang is situated directly on the National Lakes Route No. 9, which runs right across Switzerland from Lake Geneva to Lake Constance. The Rhine Route No. 2 also passes just a few kilometres from the hotel. A bike storage room and charging facilities for e-bikes are available at the hotel.
Even after a hike in the mountains, you can easily reach our hotel on foot. Various hiking trails lead directly to or are in the immediate vicinity of our hotel, making it the ideal starting point for your next hike.
