Everything you need is here. No more, no less. Perfect for anyone who knows that a good room doesn’t need a grand setting. And ideal for solo travellers too.

We’ll be opening in early 2027. We’ll announce the exact date as soon as it’s confirmed. You can already send us an enquiry for spring 2027. We’ll be happy to get back to you with a quote.

A good day starts with a good breakfast – and at the Hotel Gräpplang, it’s served just as it should be: with time, care and ingredients that come from a known source.

The breakfast buffet invites you to help yourself to everything you need to start the day:

fresh bread, homemade pastries & granola
yoghurt and cheese from the region, sourced from partners with a reputation and a story behind them
seasonal fruit and produce from our own garden
an egg dish of your choice, freshly prepared
regional meat specialities

When will the Hotel Gräpplang open?

The Hotel Gräpplang and the Arva Restaurant will open their doors in early 2027. We will announce the exact date as soon as it has been finalised. We welcome enquiries about accommodation, celebrations and events at any time. Just get in touch – we look forward to hearing from you.

Can I book a specific room?

Yes – if you’d like to reserve a specific room, you can do so by booking directly with us. As every room (even within the same category) has a different layout and its own character, we’re happy to take your request on board and will try to accommodate it – though we cannot guarantee this.

Can my dog come with me?

Dogs are permitted throughout our hotel and may stay in your room for CHF 15 per dog per night. However, please note that dogs are not permitted in the Arva restaurant.

Is there a lift?

Hotel Gräpplang is a historic building, so there's no lift. You'll reach the rooms via the staircase.

Are there any extra costs for babies?

Babies up to 2 years old stay free of charge in their parents’ room. We are happy to provide a cot on request.

How often are the towels changed?

Towels are changed every three days. An additional change costs CHF 15 per person.

Are there accessible rooms?

Hotel Gräpplang is a historic building – unfortunately, we do not have accessible rooms available. If you have any specific requirements, please get in touch with us in advance so we can find a solution that works for you
